Coon Chicken Inn items are a popular collectible item. Some people collect it because they collect black Americana and some just collect Coon Chicken Inn pieces. Just like most collectibles when they get popular reproductions show up. It is estimated that 3/4 of all Coon Chicken Inn items you see in the antique stores and on ebay are repros! I am learning as much as I can so I can help others avoid these repros. In this memorabilia section you will find 2 sub sections. One for the known originals and one for the known repros and fantasy pieces. Some of the fakes are simple to ID as there where never any real pieces made. For example hand fans.
